Our quaint little cabin offers a rustic experience right at the water’s edge. The little waterfront 10×10 cabin is available via AirBNB under ‘Daydreamer Cabin.’
This unique place has a style all of its own. Right on the edge of the Marina at the Fish & Duck Resort, the views are spectacular, and you are only a stone’s throw away from the famous Fish & Duck Pub, with its great beer and excellent pub food. The carefully laid out space is 10×10 and on-site at the fish and duck resort. It is located right on the water’s edge with a nice lawn sitting area out front. The resort can get busy, but this space is off to the side and roped off so very few people wander into the area.
There is no bathroom or running water in the unit, and a porta-potty which is discreetly placed off to the side of the unit in a fenced area, is exclusively for this cabin. We do have clean potable water through a couple of taps and hose.
Why stay here then?
It’s the perfect place to spend a night, or more if you want to get out on the water here at Spoat Lake. The resort has speedboats, pontoon boats, houseboats, and most water toys for rent including paddleboards and kayaks. The on-site pub makes for a perfect place to eat, drink and admire the Insta-worthy views and sunsets.
EVERYONE who visits is spellbound by how clean, clear, and warm the lake water is. With very few places to stay, around the lake, this unique experience is one for the memory books. Come, relax, enjoy, rejuvenate then carry on with your travels, but a quick warning nothing else will compare to Sproat Lake!
